About a year and a half ago I suffered a leg injury (tib-fib fracture) that kept me off my legs for quite a while so I lost a lot of muscle tone and gained about 6 pounds. Because I’m in my mid 50′s, it was very difficult to get that tone back. I had been to a couple of other trainers who weren’t sensitive to my specific needs. My daughter told me about Mike and how he customizes your routines based on your level of fitness.
My daughter and I have been working out with Mike for about 6 months now and he modifies the exercises to challenge each of our abilities. He gives us different routines every week so I don’t get bored. I’m gradually getting stronger and feeling better! I spent 5 hours putting in my vegetable garden a couple of weeks ago and I had plenty of energy and didn’t get sore afterward!
As a cancer dietitian, I know how important a healthy diet and regular exercise/activity are to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I really appreciate Mike’s encouragement and plan on making this a long-term commitment! Thanks Mike!
